New overhead cabling rack

HellermannTyton has developed an overhead rack patching system to enable data cabling runs to be terminated outside of the main the cabinet. It is primarily suited to data centres and the pre-terminated RapidNet system. Three immediate benefits are:

  1. Very fast deployment
  2. Save valuable space inside racks
  3. Easy to relocate

Once installed rather than moving the existing infrastructure the racks can be un-patched and moved to the new required location. There is a very short turnaround on the move as everything can be prepared beforehand and so the disruption is just the time it takes to move the rack from location to location and the patching involved.
